Eligibility varies, not available in all states. If you are interested in applying for the Advantage Education Loan, you may do so by:

• Contacting Advantage by telephone at (800) 988-6333
• Apply online on the Advantage Education website
• Please note: Advantage loans may be applied to up to three semesters if they occur in the same academic year (ex. fall ’20 – summer ’21).  You are not able to cross academic years with the same loan. Therefore, if you request an Advantage loan in spring you can apply it to spring and summer. If requesting the Advantage loan in summer, it can only be used for summer semester. A new loan will need to be requested in July for the next academic year beginning in fall for as many semesters needed within that academic year (ex. fall ’21 – summer ’22).

Veterans education benefits: The ABA Online programs may qualify for Veterans education benefits. Visit the Military and Veteran Student Services web pages for more information. If you have further questions, they can be reached at MVSS@ashtech-oem.com.

Americorps: Eligible students may use the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award toward the ABA Online graduate certificate programs. For more information, please email studentacctg@ashtech-oem.com.

Since our partnership with MBS Direct does not allow the use of future or anticipated loan funds to purchase books, students may need to purchase textbooks with their own funds and use their financial aid refund to reimburse themselves.

• Federal Stafford Loans: Available to those who qualify; students must be enrolled a minimum of five credit-hours per semester.
• Graduate PLUS Loans: Federal Graduate PLUS loans are not based on financial need. They are available to graduate and professional students. Credit checks are required.
• Private Loans: These loans are contracted with private lending companies directly by the borrower. Florida Tech works with FASTChoice to make finding a private loan provider as simple as possible for students.
• Outside Scholarships and Grants: We encourage all students to apply for outside scholarships.
